Terms And Conditions

These terms and conditions outline the basis on which we sell travel arrangements and package holidays. The applicable terms depend on your booking type:

  • Single Travel Arrangement (e.g., flight-only or hotel-only booking): We act as an agent for the third-party supplier, and your contract will be with the supplier. Section A applies.
  • Package Holiday: Your contract is with us, and both Sections A and B apply.

Definitions

  • Travel Arrangements: Flights, accommodation, car hire, and other travel services listed on our website.
  • Supplier/Principal: The third-party provider of travel services, such as airlines and hotels.
  • We/Us/Our: Sun Shines Tour.
  • You: All persons named on the booking.

Importance of Reading These Terms

Please read these terms before booking, as they explain our services, changes, cancellations, and other key details.

Section A: General Terms

Charter and Scheduled Flight Arrangements

  • Charter Flights: Prices on the confirmation invoice are final.
  • Scheduled Flights: Prices are guaranteed only after full payment. Deposits secure seats but not prices. If a pricing error occurs, we will notify the client and offer compensation of £20-£40.

Government Action

Prices may be affected by government-imposed charges, such as VAT or passenger levies.

Flight Details

  • Flight details are on your invoice/ticket.
  • We cannot guarantee specific aircraft types or airlines.
  • All flights must be reconfirmed 72 hours before departure.
  • Check-in times:
    • First & Business Class: 2 hours before departure.
    • Economy Class: 3 hours before departure.

Booking and Payment

  • A deposit is required to confirm a booking but does not fix the price.
  • Deposits are non-refundable if the balance is unpaid by the due date.
  • Full payment must be received before ticket issuance.

E-Tickets

  • Issued after full payment:
    • 2+ months before travel: Sent within 7 days.
    • 1- 4 weeks before travel: Sent within 24 hours.
    • Less than a week before travel: Sent within 3-6 hours.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Refunds are subject to airline policies and an admin charge of £10.
  • Service charges are non-refundable.
  • Refunds typically take 10-12 weeks.

Date Changes

  • Date changes incur a £10 admin fee plus fare and tax differences.

Special Requests & Medical Conditions

  • Requests are not guaranteed.
  • Medical conditions must be disclosed before booking.
  • We reserve the right to cancel bookings if we cannot accommodate special needs.

Behavior

  • You must not behave in a way that causes offense or damage.
  • We reserve the right to terminate bookings in case of misconduct without refunds.

Flights & Travel Documents

  • Direct flights may have stops.
  • Flight times are estimates and subject to change.
  • Passengers must reconfirm flights 72 hours before departure.
  • Infants (under 2 years) qualify for discounted fares.

Passport & Visa Requirements

  • You are responsible for obtaining the correct travel documents.
  • We are not liable for entry refusals due to missing documents.

Travel Document Dispatch

  • It is your responsibility to verify travel documents.
  • Late bookings may require document collection at extra cost.
  • Lost tickets must be replaced at your expense.

Flight Changes & Cancellations

  • Airlines may alter schedules. Your options may include rerouting, refunds, or rebooking.
  • If a change occurs after full payment, supplier rules apply.

Amendments by You

  • Changes incur an amendment fee per person.

Liability

  • As an agent, we are not liable for deficiencies in supplier services.
  • We are not responsible for injury or loss unless caused by our negligence.

Telephone Calls

  • Calls may be recorded for quality assurance.

Legal Jurisdiction

  • Governed by English law.

Section B: Package Holiday Terms

Booking Conditions

  • Prices may change before booking confirmation.
  • Higher deposits or full payments may be required during peak seasons.
  • A contract exists upon issuance of a confirmation invoice.
  • Full payment is due 8 weeks before departure; failure to pay may result in cancellation.

Holiday Prices

  • Price changes due to taxes, fuel costs, or exchange rates may occur.
  • No changes within 30 days of departure.
  • Increases over 10% allow cancellation with a full refund.
  • Price reductions over 2% will be refunded.
